Rock Ferry Conservation Area:
Cartography and illustration combined has a huge impact in display format, this was a great project (currently working on a better scan of this, it's an A1 size piece!).
The image depicts many historical buildings too, including "The Royal Rock Hotel", "The toll House" and wooden hulled ships "Akbar" and "Conway". The esplanade scene shows the "Bath house" in situ, and I recall stumbling across the date stone for the smallpox hospital on the beach mid 1980's! A unique view of a "secret" promenade on the banks of the Mersey.
